Black and white felt
G hook and yarn needle
needle and thread for felt

Head in green
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic circle (6)

Antennae in orange or red
ch 9, sc in second ch from hook and in next 3, ch 5, sc in second ch from hook and in next 3, sc in remaining original ch. this makes the Y shape.

Assembly
The nose pieces can be stuffed of not, either way looks good, I chose to lightly stuff, the sew them onto head so that the top of the nose is at the middle of the head
the sew on antennae and eyes ( I made the whites of my eyes out of yarn, but felt would work better, I was out of white felt)
sew body segments to head starting with #1, then #2 and finally the last.
sew belly spots onto the bottoms of the segments, then the feet onto the first 2 segments.
sew tail pieces onto the tip of the last segment
sew the circles onto each segment.
I used some extra green and yellow yarn to strip the last body segment and I pulled the green yarn tight to to make slight bumps in the segment.
